• FOCUS AREAS: Carvers Gap, NC parking lot & section of the Appalachian Trail.

* This is a partnership cleanup with: AT VISTA

** We will be going through the Carvers Gap parking area and along the surrounding Appalachian Trail area and removing the negative impact of litter and trash. This is our way of erasing the negative impact that sometimes large crowds can bring into a small community or town. This will be a Zero Added Waste Cleanup meaning we will be using reusable gloves and reusable bags to collect the litter in, then dumping it into designated dumpsters for proper disposal. This is a FREE event and is family and pet friendly.

***Trash bags and gloves will be provided. Please dress accordingly to the weather and wear sturdy footwear.
